FEES OVERVIEW
Dr. Ryan is a contracted provider with Blue Cross of Idaho and United. She does not work directly with any other insurance providers and is not considered in-network for additional insurance companies. Dr. Ryan will provide clients with a superbill (itemized receipt), which families may submit directly to their insurance providers. Many insurance plans reimburse a portion of the evaluation cost. Families are encouraged to contact their insurance providers directly to obtain reimbursement information specific to their plan. For self-pay, payment can be divided into two equal amounts (the first payment to be made at the initial appointment and the second payment to be made at the final appointment).
Prices are based on hourly rates. The cost of a complete standard autism spectrum disorder evaluation is typically $900. The cost of a comprehensive psychoeducational evaluation (e.g., evaluation for learning disorders like dyslexia) is typically $2500. You will be provided with a Good Faith Estimate at your initial appointment. In the event that additional testing or clinical hours are required, you will be notified as soon as the need arises. These fees include the initial intake appointment, testing, scoring, interpretation of results, a comprehensive written report, and a final appointment to review results. If Dr. Ryan and the family determine that an evaluation is not clinically warranted, the cost of the initial intake/consultation is $250.
